The island is known for its spice plantations, ancient Stone Town, and crystal-clear waters, offering a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Whether you're diving into the warm Indian Ocean, exploring the bustling markets of Stone Town, or relaxing on the white-sand beaches, Zanzibar is a place that captures the heart.

Together, Tanzania and Zanzibar provide an unparalleled journey into the heart of East Africa—one filled with unforgettable encounters, both with nature and culture.

Waking up to the sunrise over the Rufiji River has become a habit I will never forget. The first rays of the sun break through the morning mist and reflect in the water, while the hippos slowly come to life. The sound of birds fills the air, and I feel incredibly fortunate to experience this amazing place.

Meet the newest resident of the savanna—a baby Masai giraffe, just 2 or 3 days old! I was lucky enough to capture this precious moment as the little one took its first wobbly steps, curious about the world around it and already eager to find some friends to play with.

Waking up to the sunrise over the Rufiji River is one of the most magical experiences I've ever had. The first rays of the sun break through the morning mist and reflect in the water, while the hippos slowly wake up. The sound of birds fills the air, and I feel incredibly lucky to experience this amazing place.

While on safari, I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the cutest moments – a baby elephant, still learning the ropes of the wild, found a perfect tree to scratch its trunk. It was as if the tree was a trusted friend, offering relief from those itchy moments only a baby elephant would experience!

Sleeping in a tent right by the riverbank on the African savannah is an absolutely amazing experience! The complete silence, broken only by the occasional hippo roar, monkeys and baboons jumping from tree to tree, and the crickets chirping, creates a symphony of nature's own creation. The incredibly beautiful starry sky here truly takes your breath...

The day started with a lovely transition from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania. The destination? Nyerere National Park and Rufiji River Camp – and yes, we flew in a safari plane! Upon arrival at the charming "dirt strip," a short drive to the camp awaited us. There's no doubt now – we are in the heart of the bush!

As soon as I arrived at Rufiji River Camp, I knew this place would be something special. Nestled on the banks of the Rufiji River in the heart of Nyerere National Park, this camp truly captures the wild spirit of Tanzania. The camp's rustic charm, surrounded by the untouched beauty of the bush, offers an experience like no other.
